CS2 reaction test
Two drills built around the CS2 duel. First, pure reflex in milliseconds. Then a peek duel with cover — play it blind, flip the wallhack on and the final screen shows both scores side by side and the exact percentage the information was worth.
What the peek drill shows
Three crates, an enemy hiding behind one of them, and a peek window that lasts between 0.6 and 1.3 seconds depending on the level. Sometimes only the head comes up over the crate — the torso stays covered, so it is a headshot or nothing. Sometimes the model leans out sideways, fully or halfway.
By default you play fair: you see the enemy only while they are exposed. The toggle in the corner of the arena turns the wallhack on, and a red silhouette starts glowing through the crates. Play one round each way on the same level and the result screen compares them — kills, accuracy and the average time from peek to shot.
That comparison is the honest version of what an ESP feature actually does. It does not aim for you. It removes the search: you already know where to look, so the crosshair is there before the model is.
Reflex is only a third of the duel
A CS2 exchange breaks into three parts: noticing the model, moving the crosshair to it, and stopping the crosshair to fire. The reflex drill measures only the first one. That is why a player with a 240 ms reaction and clean crosshair placement beats a 190 ms player who aims at the floor.
Pre-aim at head height, hold angles from a distance, and stop moving before you shoot — those three habits are worth more milliseconds than any reflex training.

When information beats reflexes
Run the comparison above and the pattern is usually the same: with the wallhack on, the kill count goes up and the peek-to-shot time drops, even though the hand did not get any faster. Nothing about the player changed — only what they knew before the model appeared.

Questions and answers
What reaction time do CS2 players have?
Most active players land between 200 and 260 ms on a clean signal. Under 200 ms is competitive territory. But the number alone decides very little: in a real duel you also have to spot the model, move the crosshair and stop it, and that costs more than the reflex itself.
Why do I lose duels even with a good reaction?
Usually peeker’s advantage. The player who moves out sees the static one earlier than the other way round — the picture reaches them first. That is why holding an angle wide, pre-aiming at head level and not standing still in the open matter more than raw milliseconds.
What is ESP or wallhack in CS2?
A cheat feature that draws enemies through walls: silhouettes, boxes, health, distance. The second drill on this page simulates exactly that view honestly in the browser, so you can see for yourself how much of a duel is decided by information rather than by aim.
Is the reaction test affected by the monitor?
A lot. A 60 Hz screen adds 10–15 ms of display latency compared with 144–240 Hz, and that lands on top of your own number. Compare results only between runs on the same setup.
Can reaction time be trained at all?
The nerve-conduction part is fixed. Recognition and hand movement are not — those improve with regular short sessions, and that is where the 20–40 ms people gain actually comes from.
