Which version FunTime needs
FunTime anarchies run on the 1.21 branch and the server updates right after the game: monitoring sites show the accepted range in its MOTD. Elysion installs through its own launcher and picks the build for the server, so there is no hunting for a jar that matches the patch.

Refusing is more than just saying no. Deleting folders, emptying the recycle bin, ignoring the moderator or insulting them all end in a ban under rule 4.3. If there is software on your PC, the project itself suggests owning up through /contact before the check, which means a softer penalty.
Do they ban for just having cheats on FunTime
The rules ban the mods themselves, not just using them in a fight. If a moderator finds banned software during a check, the penalty follows the FAQ table: banned mods come in two groups, one gets a warning and the other gets a ban. Most check calls come from player reports rather than anticheat flags. A suspiciously clean kill count, loot from every single airdrop and a win in every fight draw reports faster than any detection. Play a little rougher and the calls will drop.
