What kind of game HUNGER is
HUNGER is a multiplayer first-person extraction RPG with PvPvE and horror. A Europe already torn apart by the Napoleonic wars has been hit by a plague: a bacterium of unknown origin has turned people into monsters that the game simply calls the Hunger. Player characters are known as the Living. Good Fun Corporation develops and publishes the game. Its only store page is on Steam, and Windows is the only platform listed.
Combat mixes ranged and melee. At range you use rifles, pistols and a hand mortar that lobs glass grenades, and up close you switch to an axe, a mace or a sabre. Melee runs on blocks, feints, parries and an energy pool, while sprinting and jumping burn stamina. Your character levels from 1 to 100, and each of the Living has passive, tactical and ultimate abilities, plus mastery trees with more than a hundred talents. The developers estimate the main story questlines in the Chateau at 60 to 70 hours at the start of Early Access.
