Safety and the BattlEye anti-cheat
DayZ is guarded by BattlEye, so Avalanche lives on regular updates: a patch drops, the dev retunes the software, and freezes the product until the fix to avoid burning accounts. It's external with no driver — it doesn't touch the game process or load anything into it. The rest is on you: don't turn the ESP into an obvious wallhack in front of the whole server, don't chase every fresh spawn across half the map, and the account lasts noticeably longer. Play like a normal survivor, you just see a bit more.
