User information

Almost every Tundra support ticket comes down to one thing: the system was not prepared before the loader was downloaded. Windows Defender and antivirus software remove files like this on heuristics, so the order is: first turn off real-time protection (the DControl utility is the easiest way), disable core isolation and reputation-based protection, and uninstall third-party antivirus such as Kaspersky, Avast, 360 or ESET. Uninstall, not pause: a pause comes back after a reboot. Only then download the loader.

Compatibility: any build of Windows 10 and Windows 11 up to 25H2. On the insider builds 26H1 and 26H2 the loader does not start. Intel or AMD processor, DayZ from Steam, administrator rights. No USB stick needed, and the game's window mode does not matter: the map lives in the browser, not on top of DayZ.

The activation key is issued right after payment and stays in "My purchases" on the payment page, with the instruction button under it. Download the loader through the link in that instruction, run it as administrator, enter the key, and it opens the radar tab on its own. A phone or a second monitor is optional: the map link is the same for every device.

SCREENSHOTS
Description

Tundra Web Radar for DayZ puts the whole server on one map in your browser. While you sit on a roof in Elektro, a second tab or your phone shows who is running along the coast with a Mosin, where the military loot is, which yard has a working sedan parked in it and how many infected are trailing that survivor. Nothing is drawn over the game: only the loader runs on the PC, and the DayZ picture stays clean in any window mode.

The map is picked automatically from the server: Chernarus+, Livonia, Sakhal or Namalsk. Every survivor is labelled with name, weapon in hands, health, blood and distance, and an arrow shows where they are looking. The dead and the unconscious sit on a separate layer. Loot is sorted into categories with a condition filter, rare items are highlighted, and the contents of tents, barrels and car trunks show up on hover.

Below you will find the Windows preparation, the launch steps, the typical failures and exactly what ends up on the map. Prices start at 300 ₽ a day, and the key is issued right after payment.

Product features

Players and infected

Survivors on the map

Every player on the server is a dot with a name, the weapon in their hands and the distance in metres. Next to it is the height difference, so you know at once whether someone is on a roof or in a basement.

Infected and animals

Zombies and wildlife are separate layers. A crowd of infected around a building gives away that someone inside is making noise.

Health, blood, stamina

Bars for HP, blood and stamina under the marker. A player hurt in a firefight shows a red bar, and so does one who is out of breath.

View direction

A line from the marker shows where the player is looking. You can tell whether they spotted you behind the fence or are facing the other way.

Dead and unconscious

Bodies and knocked-out players are marked separately. You do not mistake a corpse for a live player after a fight, and you can finish or skip whoever is unconscious.

Inventory on hover

Hover over a marker and the player's clothing and inventory open up. You see whether they carry a plate carrier and NVGs or are a fresh spawn in a t-shirt off the coast.

Friends

Mark your teammates by hand: they get their own colour and sit at the top of the list.

Camera follow

The F key locks the map to a chosen player and it follows them on its own. Handy for tracking a target while they walk towards your position.

Teammate view

Switch the view to a squadmate: the map centres on them and you see who is behind their back.

Bullets in flight

A separate toggle shows bullets in the air. They reveal where the shooting started before the sound reaches you.

Vehicles

Cars on the map

Sedans, off-roaders, trucks and the rest of the server's vehicles are marked with an icon and a label, including the ones hidden in the woods.

Trunk and parts

Hovering over a car opens the trunk contents and the list of installed parts. You know straight away whether it will drive or is missing a wheel and a battery.

Loot and objects

Items by category

Firearms, melee, ammo, explosives, attachments, optics, medical, food, consumables, tools, crafting, car parts, backpacks, clothing. Each category toggles on and off separately.

Loot condition

A filter from pristine to ruined. Keep only intact guns on the map and stop running after rusty junk.

Rare items

Valuable gear is starred and highlighted: NVGs, plate carriers, the LAR and the rest of the top tier do not get lost among the cans.

Icons and labels

Icon and text size of the loot markers are adjustable. Bigger on a phone, smaller on a large monitor.

Bases, tents, barrels

Player structures, tents and barrels show as objects. Someone's base in the forest turns up without walking the whole map.

Container contents

Hover over a tent or a barrel to see what is inside. An empty base is not worth raiding.

Maps and POI

Four maps

Chernarus+, Livonia, Sakhal and Namalsk. The map switches by itself to match the server you joined.

Points of interest

Towns, villages, military bases, hospitals, police, fire stations, churches, wells, gas stations, helicopter crashes and contaminated zones.

POI filter

Each type of point toggles separately. For a military run you keep bases and crash sites and switch the rest off.

View

Zoom and centre on self

Wheel or gestures for scale, drag the map with the mouse, one button returns to your own marker. Map rotation with the player can be switched on.

Movement trails

Players leave a trail of their route. You see where someone came from and where they are heading.

Grid and compass

A kilometre grid and a compass ring, so you can call a grid square to your squad over the radio without arguments.

3D mode

A WebGL 3D map, still in beta. Terrain and elevation read more clearly than on the flat version.

Full screen

The map expands to the whole monitor and the panels hide.

Player list

Table on F2

All survivors on the server as a list with distance, sorted by range, friends on top.

Search by name

The search box finds a specific person, for example the one who dropped you five minutes ago.

Counters

The list header shows the number of players, infected and vehicles on the server.

Settings

Menu on F1

Any category can be switched on or off, each with its own colour and size. Distance digits have their own size setting.

Profiles

Settings export to a file and move to another device, with a reset to defaults.

Language

The interface is in Russian and English and switches in the settings.

Radar on a phone

Phone and tablet

The radar opens from one link on any device. The interface adapts to the screen, and the map moves and zooms with gestures.

Defender deletes the Tundra loader for DayZ during the download

This is a heuristic of Windows Defender or a third-party antivirus, not a broken file. Prepare the system before downloading: turn off real-time protection (DControl is the easiest way), disable core isolation and reputation-based protection, uninstall Kaspersky, Avast, 360, ESET and the like. Pausing the antivirus does not count: it switches back on after a reboot. Then download the loader again into a separate folder and add only that folder to the exclusions, not the whole Downloads folder.

I am on a DayZ server but the Tundra map has no markers at all

First make sure your character is already in the world: in the main menu, in the server queue and on the loading screen the map is always empty. If you are in the game, refresh the radar tab with F5. If that does not help: close DayZ, run the loader as administrator again, wait for the Waiting for game status and only then start the game. The loader has to start before the game.

Tundra shows Chernarus even though the server is on Livonia or Namalsk

The map is picked automatically from the server; Chernarus+, Livonia, Sakhal and Namalsk are supported. After moving to another server the tab sometimes keeps the previous map until it is refreshed. Press F5 in the browser and the radar picks up the right one.

The key will not type into the Tundra loader window

The loader field sometimes does not accept keyboard input. Copy the whole key from "My purchases" or the email and paste it with Ctrl+V. Make sure the loader is running as administrator, otherwise the window may not respond.

How to open the Tundra radar on a phone or a second monitor

After the key is activated the loader opens the map tab by itself. Copy its address from the address bar and open it in the browser on your phone or tablet; for a second monitor just drag the browser window over. On a touch screen the map moves and zooms with gestures. The F1, F2 and F hotkeys work only on the PC with the browser tab active.

Where to find the Tundra key after payment

The key is shown right after payment and saved in the marketplace account under "My purchases", with the instruction button and the loader link under it. An email with the key goes to the address from the order. If the key is in neither place, write to the support chat and quote your order number.

Tundra filter tabs: what to switch on in DayZ

The radar filters are split into tabs, and each tab has its own job. Turning everything on at once makes no sense: on a server with fifty survivors and thousands of items the map turns into mush, especially on a phone. Below is what each tab holds and the situation it is usually set up for.

TabWhat is insideWhen it helps
PlayersSurvivors, infected, animals; name, health, blood, stamina, weapon in hands, view direction, distance, height indicatorAlways. Infected can be switched off in a town so they do not clutter the player positions
VehiclesCars on the map and bullets in flightFinding wheels for a car, checking whether yours was stolen, and working out where the shots come from
LootSixteen categories, a condition filter, highlighting of rare itemsMilitary runs: keep firearms, ammo, attachments and rare gear, switch off the rest
POICapitals, towns, villages, military bases, hospitals, police, fire stations, shops, wells, helicopter crashes, contaminated zonesPlanning a route from the coast inland and quickly finding water or medical supplies
View3D map, follow player, rotation, movement trails, grid, compass ringSquad play: grid coordinates, tracking a target with the F key
StyleA custom colour for every category, reset to defaultsWhen teammates and enemies blend together, or medical loot needs to stand out on a dark map

The finished set is saved to a profile through F1 and moved to a second device by export. It is handy to keep two profiles: a full one for the monitor and a trimmed one for the phone.

How to launch Tundra Web Radar in DayZ

The order is simple, but skipping the first step almost guarantees the loader will not survive to launch.

  1. Prepare Windows: turn off Defender together with real-time protection, disable core isolation and reputation-based protection, uninstall third-party antivirus. After a reboot the system likes to switch protection back on, so either run DControl before every session or download the loader into a separate folder and add only that folder to the exclusions.
  2. Download the loader through the link in the instruction under your key. Do this after the preparation, otherwise the file gets deleted while it is still downloading.
  3. Run the loader as administrator and enter the key. If the key will not type from the keyboard, paste it with Ctrl+V.
  4. Wait for the Connected or Waiting for game status. The loader window closes on its own and a radar tab opens in the browser. That is how it is meant to work.
  5. Start DayZ through Steam and join a server. The map is picked from the server, and markers appear as soon as your character is in the world. In the main menu and on the loading screen the map is empty, which is normal.

Keep the radar tab open for the whole session. The F1, F2 and F hotkeys work when the browser tab is active, not the game window.

It will not start or the map is empty: step by step

The loader vanished right after download. Defender or your antivirus removed it. Go back to the Windows preparation, turn off real-time protection, uninstall the third-party antivirus and download the file again. Better into a separate folder that you then add to the exclusions.

You are on the server but there are no markers. Refresh the radar tab with F5 first. If that does not help, close DayZ, run the loader as administrator again, wait for Waiting for game and only then start the game. The order "loader first, game second" matters.

The radar shows the wrong map. After switching servers, say from Chernarus to Namalsk, the old map sometimes stays. Refreshing the tab with F5 switches it to the right one.

The key will not type into the loader window. Copy it to the clipboard and paste it with Ctrl+V, manual typing in that window sometimes does not go through.

If none of this works, message support with your order number and a screenshot of the loader window. That makes the diagnosis many times faster than a description in words.

Chernarus+, Livonia, Sakhal and Namalsk

The radar knows four maps and works out which one you joined from the server. Nothing needs switching by hand: leave Chernarus, join Livonia, and after a tab refresh the map is already a different one. The screenshots above show Elektrozavodsk and Chernogorsk with the kilometre grid and town labels.

Points of interest sit on top of the satellite base. Capitals and towns are labelled large, villages smaller, and military bases, hospitals, police, fire stations, churches, wells, gas stations and shops have their own icons. For those who play around military sites there is a layer of helicopter crashes and contaminated zones where you have no business without a gas mask.

Each type of point toggles separately in the POI tab. On Namalsk with its cold people usually keep wells, gas stations and military sites, on Sakhal the first thing they look at is the coastline and local landmarks.

Players, infected and animals on the map

Every survivor on the map carries a label of name, weapon in hands and distance, bars for health, blood and stamina underneath, and a view line from the marker itself. Those four things tell you almost everything: a player with a Mosin looking your way from three hundred metres and a fresh spawn with an axe running past look different on the map.

A separate indicator shows the height difference. In the apartment blocks of Cherno that decides things: a marker five metres away may be on the roof or in the basement. The dead and the unconscious are drawn in their own style, so a body after a firefight is not mistaken for a live player.

Hovering over a player opens their clothing and inventory. You can tell whether a contact is worth it at all: a plate carrier, a helmet and NVGs in the backpack speak for themselves. Friends are marked by hand and get their own colour, and you can lock the camera on any player with the F key or look at the map through a teammate's eyes.

Infected and animals are separate layers. A cluster of infected around a building usually means someone is making noise in there, and a herd bolting from a field gives away a person in the woods.

Loot, vehicles and other people's bases

Items on the map are sorted into sixteen categories, from firearms and ammo to crafting and car parts. Each one toggles separately, and a condition filter works on top: you can keep only pristine items and stop seeing broken guns and torn backpacks. Rare gear is starred and highlighted so that NVGs or a LAR do not get lost in the crowd.

Vehicles are shown with an icon and a label, including cars hidden in the woods or on a distant farm. Hovering opens the trunk and the installed parts, so you know in advance whether a wheel, a battery or a spark plug is missing. When you are hunting for parts that saves an hour of running between garages.

Player structures, tents and barrels show as objects, and their contents open on hover. You find someone's base without combing the forest and know beforehand whether there is anything in there worth breaking a wall for.

The radar on a phone, tablet or second monitor

After activation the loader opens the map tab on its own. The link from the address bar can be copied and opened on a phone or tablet, and for a second monitor you just drag the browser window over. The interface is responsive: on a touch screen the map moves and zooms with gestures, and the filter panels collapse.

On a phone it makes sense to trim the set of categories, otherwise on a six-inch screen the loot markers cover the players. The trimmed set is saved as a separate profile through F1 and moved over by export.

Hotkeys work only on the PC and only with the browser tab active. F1 opens the settings, F2 the player list with search by name and sorting by distance, F turns on following the selected player. The 2D and 3D switch is in the top left corner, the 3D map is still in beta.

BattlEye and the ban risk

DayZ servers run BattlEye, and no third-party software, this one included, guarantees you will not be banned. The radar draws the map in a browser rather than over the game, and only the loader runs on the PC, but it still breaks the game's rules. Do not put an account you care about on the line.

Far more often than the anti-cheat, a survivor is given away by their own behaviour. If you turn towards the person behind the wall ahead of time every single time, people report you to the admins, and on modded servers the admin decides on their own without BattlEye. Do not show the map tab on streams or recordings: one frame is enough for viewers to work it out.

Check the status on the product page before playing. If it says updating, leave the loader alone until the status is cleared.

Tundra Web Radar for DayZ: price and how to buy

There are four terms: a day for 300 ₽, three days for 750 ₽, a week for 1200 ₽ and a month for 2500 ₽. Per day that makes the week about 170 ₽ and the month about 83 ₽. People usually take a day to check the launch on their hardware and try the map on a phone, and after that it is clear whether a long term is worth it.

Press the plan button, land on the payment page and pay by card, SBP or another method from the list. The key is issued right after payment and stays in "My purchases", and an email with it goes to the address from the order. If the key is nowhere to be found, message support with your order number.

If the radar goes into an update after a DayZ patch, the status on the product page changes and your subscription days are frozen for that time.

Tundra also builds a radar for Arena Breakout

DayZ is Tundra's second game. The first was a browser radar for Arena Breakout Infinite built on the same scheme: a loader on the PC, the map on any device, nothing drawn over the game. If you also play ABI, the Tundra Web Radar for Arena Breakout Infinite page is in the neighbouring category, and the two radars use different keys.

Tundra for DayZ FAQ

Does the radar draw anything over the game?

No. The map opens in a browser, and only the loader runs on the gaming PC. DayZ can be in any window mode, and a second monitor or phone is optional.

Which maps are supported?

Chernarus+, Livonia, Sakhal and Namalsk. The map is picked automatically from the server, and after switching servers you only need to refresh the tab.

Do I need a USB stick or BIOS changes?

No. No drive is required and nothing needs changing in the BIOS. Administrator rights, a disabled Defender and no third-party antivirus are enough.

Which Windows does the loader run on?

Any build of Windows 10 and Windows 11 up to 25H2. It does not start on 26H1 and 26H2. Administrator rights and a disabled Defender are required.

Can I open the map on a phone?

Yes. Copy the radar link from the address bar and open it in the browser on your phone or tablet. The interface is responsive and the map is controlled with gestures.

Why is the map empty even though I am on the server?

Refresh the tab with F5. If that does not help, close the game, restart the loader as administrator, wait for Waiting for game and start DayZ again.

Is this the same Tundra as the Arena Breakout radar?

Yes, same developer, same scheme. The keys for the DayZ and ABI radars are different, one key does not cover both games.
